24-hour Medical Emergency Protection.
When an alarm signal is received from your home action is taken within seconds:

First, we verify.
  An operator will phone the residence. If someone answers the call they will be required to provide the correct password or abort code.
Second, we cancel if alarm is false.
  If the person that answers the phone provides the correct abort code and states that an emergency is not taking place, ADT will cancel the alarm.
Third, we notify medical agencies.
  If ADT doesn't receive the abort code and an emergency may be taking place ADT will notify the necessary emergency department.
Fourth, we notify a friend or family member.
  The operator will notify someone that you have selected to act on your behalf to meet the authorities at your home.
